Received some comments about my Chinese article yesterday
Many Chin-glish friends unable to understand and ask for translate.
Well, normally would try some things hard follow by easy, so I wouldn’t get bored and like to challenge my patient.
Due to that, may be we should talk about Hard.
We always hear.
“Hard to do lah!”
“Hard to achieve lah!”
“Hard to talk to lah!” and etc.
Firstly why so hard?
Hard because of capability issue?
Hard because of know ledges / info ?
Hard because of no helps?
Hard because of floor no flat enough?
Hard because of the judges no fair?
etc……
Well, do we ask? Hard because of my characters?
Seldom, let share this
Normally things that difficult, we will do it last!
I.e.
When you are student, teacher will tell you to skip the difficult question and go for easier first…utilized time.
When you are working, some smart colleagues will teach you “short-cuts” to get things done easily.
When having seafood in restaurants, normally fish come first, follow by prawn, and leave the crab behind…easy come first
Ok, now we have trained our self the easy ways out, sound smart and also utilized time.
Now, let reverse and thinks base on above scenario.
Utilized time = don’t waste time.
Short-cuts = simplify.
Easy come first = difficult come last.
Our characters already “trained” to be like that, so we would like the easy one and dislike the difficult one.
We will over “simplify”, until we lost our self then heading to no where, cause do not know how to deal with complexity.
This will be more interesting, leave the difficult at last, so the “unlucky one” will do it for us or hoping for everybody don’t accomplished, so have more buddy to share the risks!
We need to re-align all this, simply because things that hard, will need more brain power, patient, capability and skills to overcome it.
It unleashed all potential while you just need to take out your “dislikes.”
Nobody born to be tough and tough doesn’t transform to momentum by nature, it need you to pick it up, face it, and deal with it!
Most of the time, hard or difficulty is not equal to danger, but the danger are mostly hard and difficult.
One ought never to turn one’s back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half.

well, some regrets to not having to read/write chinese but im trying to speak as the first step of self-help improvement.
the word hard is also another word for excuse. Let’s reflect on it, most of the time that word hard is use not because we are facing difficulty but rather the WORKLOAD. Nothing is really hard, unless we talk about certain brainy exams subjects.
Coming back to facing a problem. Its best to tackle it head on and not pro-longing the matter which later will bring matter worse.
HARD? WHAT is HARD? What is not HARD? many of times its mind over matters.
Yes,most of the time “hard” is consider excuses, some could lack of capability to handle it, then it turn “hard”.
I find it really hard reading those traditional characters with my very basic knowledge of Chinese. But I will try.
Anyway, HARD is when you know that you have tried your best and the best is still not enough to get what you want. That is how I define it. Of course its good to try till you get it, but we should know our limitations too sometimes. Otherwise, no matter how HARD you try, there is no point.
Sorry I forgot to point out:
Moufat = Li Lian
Just posted new topic on Pakatan Rakyat and 308 欣慰與不幸(2) on comments just in case you find “hard” to understand.
Stay cool!
